The 9/11 Never Forget Project Flag Memorial and Candlelight Vigil will be held September 11th.
The memorial of miniature American flags will be
in place on Landis Green from dawn until dusk. The candlelight vigil will take place on Landis Green starting at 7:30 p.m.
Sponsored by FSU's Institute for Conservative Studies in partnership with Young America's Foundation. The
event is open to all students, staff, and faculty of Florida State
University and members of the surrounding community.
This event is held to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the September 11th tragedy, a memorial of miniature American flags will be placed on Landis Green. Each of the 2,977 flags represents an innocent life that was taken that day. That evening at 7:30, students and members of the community are invited to attend a candlelight vigil to pay tribute to all of those lives lost. Student Football Ticket Pickup
The student football tickets for the Western Carolina game will continue to be distributed on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Dick Howser stadium. Students who wish to avoid the long lines for future games are encouraged to use the self-print option available when submitting the ticket request at http://seminoles.cstv.com/. Thank you for your patience as we refine this new student ticket system.

Attention faculty and staff: Quit smoking with Thagard's Smoking Cessation Program.
Formerly available only to students, the program is now open to FSU faculty and staff. Participants will receive one-on-one meetings with smoking cessation facilitators, half-priced cessation aids (choose from nicotine gum, patches, inhalers, Wellbutrin or Chantrix), and tips and techniques for quitting.
